Blood Orange Foodstore is a place where people who love good food go to shop for gorgeous ingredients, eat beautiful food in our café or take home delicious and nutritious housemade meals.

The Blood Orange story began in Port Douglas in 2007 opening as a Greengrocer.  Soon after, Blood Orange began offering grocery items including many unique and local artisan items and then a kitchen was installed which facilitated the birth of the Blood Orange Preserves Range– jams, chutneys, sauces.

Blood Orange Foodstore opened in Melbourne in late September 2014 – it is a grocer, greengrocer, deli, cafe, caterer and take home meal supplier all in the one building. The Blood Orange Foodstore is a place where you find the charm of a friendly grocer, the convenience of a corner store, and the quality selection of produce and artisan products of a farmers market.

The talented team in the Blood Orange kitchen are cooking and baking all day, creating take home meals, salads, pies, cakes and of course the Blood Orange Preserves.

The mantra at Blood Orange Foodstore is that we want to make it easy to eat good food.

Our Foodstore stocks our unique Blood Orange Housemade Preserves Range, with over 60 different recipes and more on the way. They feature on our menu so you can have a try!

Our gifted team of chefs prepare an array of fresh take home meal solutions. These tasty dishes are lovingly made on site in our kitchen using fresh ingredients and no artificial additives.

Our all day breakfast menu showcases our beautiful produce that we also sell in our store such as Dr Marty’s Crumpets, Housemade Granola and Muesli and beautiful fresh produce.

Our foodstore produces and stocks the ever-expanding Blood Orange Housemade Preserves Range. An incredible array of award winning flavours.

We excel at catering. Whatever event, meeting or party we can supply finger food, salads, buffet lunches or dinners or anything you require from the food you have enjoyed in our store.

For budding Chefs our grocery store offers seasonal fruit and vegetables, fresh bread, milk, cheeses, antipasto and deli meats, free range eggs and dry stock.
